GOOD TIME IS HERE AGAIN, LOTS OF THRILL TO GAIN…

India is the land of festivals where countless people celebrates dateless festival calendar with endless joyful moments. One of them is Dussehra, which falls in the month of October and is celebrated with great pomp and show. Along with the flavor of winters, October do brings the fragrance of festivals in India. This is the time when a wind of fun and masti blows over India, homes leak out special scent from their newly painted walls, and people on large numbers shell out from their homes to enter the all new world of extravagant shopping bazaars. Spirit of Navratras, Durga pooja, Eid and Dussehra club-up to produce the vibrant colors of divine. Folk dances such as Garba and other cultural programme like Ramleelas, depicting the world’s most popular epic ‘Ramayana’, complimented with mouth boggling taste of Dussehra melas, spices up the ambience. It’s festival time; one after another and the fever goes on and on. The first big festival of the season is Dussehra. This hugely popular festival falls after the ninth Navratra. According to Hindu mythology, on this day, Lord Ram, Ayodhya king and the lead hero of the epic, Ramayana, killed Ravana, the 10-faced furious lankan rakshas who had abducted Ram’s wife, Sita. Ramleelas are organized and burning of Ravan, Kumbhkaran and Meghnath effigies are observed are various places. This festival represents the victory of good over evil.
